Directed by Chanje Kunda, Yvonne McCalla and Colin Thorpe, Black Jesus is set in future Manchester in a parallel universe called Onechester where a new age is promised and new forms of language flourish.</p>
<p>The show will feature a select line-up of Speakeasy poets and live music from the world-class Speakeasy band.</p>
<p>Special guest poet: the dynamic Roger Robinson. Roger Robinson is the author of a short fiction collection, Adventures in 3D (lubin &amp; kleyner) and a collection of poetry, Suitcase (waterways).</p>
